¡Hola familias!
This was a short but exciting week.
- Since our last update we successfully completed a science experiment on absorption. Students experimented with different materials to see which one absorbed the most and wondered why it was absorbent.
- This week in math we continued with 2-digit addition with regrouping. We also did a review of the number line.
- In ELAL we completed our "how to" writing.
- In Spanish we started to record our question and answer sequence.
- In social studies we are learning about Acadian food and the students did a lobster trap out of popsicle sticks and cardboard and a clay lobster.
- In physical education we had centres where students could choose between skipping rope, scoop rackets or badminton.
- Today was pajama day and students enjoyed a day of crafts and winter-themed activities.
