- In social studies we watched videos and learned about Inuit communities. We learned that the Inuit speak Inuktitut and saw some examples of Inuit words . We hard an Inuk woman explain throat singing and listened to the the work of the Inuk musical artist Nelson Tagoona.

- In gym we worked with the Omnikin ball and today we had a multidisciplinary activity mixing math and phys ed. We used our bodies or body parts to measure lengths in the gym.

Today was our reading party and students got to choose their favourite spot to read their favourite book. I also started reading the Fantastic Mr. Fox by Roald Dahl to the class.

We were also able to make a paper lantern relating to Chinese New Year. Students who chose to make one were able to take it home.
