This week we are hoping to finish our science posters. This is what the student have done so far:
In math we are continuing with measurements using standard and non-standard measurements. We will be comparing length and ordering lengths and hopefully start with simple word problems.
In ELAL we are learning about editing and the /o/, /ow/, /oi/ and /oo/ sounds. I have also started reading Fantastic Mr. Fox to the class.
In Spanish we are learning about the vocabulary surrounding the house in preparation for an activity involving building a house using cereal boxes.
In Social studies we are learning about Inuit communities. We learned about people and language and will now move to food and celebrations. Student will hopefully learn to write their names in Inuktitut syllabics.
Today was library day. Thank you for returning books.
