!Hola familia!
In the following weeks we will start learning about a community in the past. There are a few items we will be using. Please look around the house to see if you have any
- toilet paper rolls or paper towel rolls
- small paper plates are also welcome
This week in math we will continue to explore fractions in different ways. Today we saw how we can express fractions with hexagons, trapeziums, triangles and rhombuses.
I social studies we are continuing to learn about the prairies through prairie art. Last week we drew a landscape featuring grain elevators inspired by Jason Carter's art. This week we are using watercolours to complete the painting. In ELAL we wrote something about the author to add to our stuck stories and worked on our covers.
In Spanish we are getting our presentations ready to present to the class on how to prepare a breakfast food.
